true, but you only take more notice of the box draw when you have runners, boy you wonder sometimes about the box draw system

Dino we have a list of 40 trainers in SA, and have kept a constant record since January 1st, of all TAB meetings and their box draws. Maybe it will highlight the redraw button or the glitch...come over and see next time you are at kevs!!

It's OZCHASES pathetic statement that the system has no memory, if it has none there are stacks of co-incidents happening all over australia. That's what they're telling states they have flogged it off to. Why did my dog get 6 box 6's in a row they can't answer. Study Adelaide fields for a few days and see what ya see, If it has no memory then it must have Alzheimer's. what a crock!!!!!!!!!

I'd love to Robyn, at least you've gone to the effort. Not many have. GRSA assured to me it was grading errors. How do ya believe that, to a system is so good to them. Than the system we had. Cheers Dino

So if your dog is a moderate beginner and you keep getting crashed on its your dogs fault. How many moderate beginners can run top grade and very successfully. Heres one My Bro Fabio. But he dont draw the 4 every week. And for some reason he nearly always misses the trouble. Hes field smart. A bit like my dog. Heres his name Brucin It. Go watch his Richmond run and get back to me and tell me hes not field smart. That run is also his first 400m ever and first past 330 with a week off from a 300 the week before. Box 7. Keeping in mind he never jumps that bad u would sack him??? Then watch his run at Maitland on the 19th. At 1 min 20 odd u see the head on out the boxes. For some strange reason its not on this weeks replay...... any idea why? Would you have had him $36;last week and $31 this week like the tote? Thats not strange to u? Seems someones trying to stop my dog winning to me......
Anyways I guess my drama is with GRNSW not so much ozchase cause my boxes are dodgy not drawn next to my other. Ill leave my point there and await box six when the draws out lunchtime tomorrow. EXTERNAL LINK

to all the people out there who believe the draw is flawed, pls put it in writing to the state bodies. I have forwarded my theory on the trainers initial being a "bug" in the system, Remember the squeaky wheel gets oiled.

Will it Tom, or will GRNSW sweep letters in the scrap heap and let the dust settle. What is needed is a PETITION if not satisfied with this so called audit. OWNERS & TRAINERS need to act if the audit produces no improvement, which we don't even know who is conducting. otherwise States will be stuck with a white elephant. There has been no response from any member of GRNSW on this matter to assure owners or trainers on this forum, that any matter will be looked into or explanation. So many people can't be angry about some-thing that they could bury their heads in the sand, and what is on offer to states to use this so called beaut system that I could get a better result from closing my eyes and hitting the field with a pen.

have a look at the races at wenty 2nite.

In nearly every race where there are trainers with the same initial on their christian name, they are drawn in adjacent boxes. Race 1,D, race 2, M, race 4, A, race 5, J, race 6, J, race8 ,L, Race 9, S and J,

Richmond, a similar story
It is too frequent to be "random". definitely a "bug" in the software.

Many have known this all along, look at Angle Park Wednesday, now I am certain that IT experts DID NOT develop this software those parameters would not have occurred. Some one within GRNSW mocked it up and the NSW government has given them a golden hand shake for doing it. This crap can't continue, dogs that are getting one crack at races they are nom'd for ie: GOLDEN MAIDENS,CUPS,DERBYS,OAKS, BREEDERS, and GROUP 1s, are getting screwed because of LETTERS in their owners and trainers. Therefore draws would have certainly have been different with a proper system

Yes Tom I went thru the 5 Friday night meetings and got 9 times drawn together V 11 times drawn apart . But then for the 5 Saturday night meetings ( I'm only referring to draws dome by grnsw) = 2 times drawn together V 17 times drawn apart. It stands out like the proverbial when trainers are drawn together, not so obvious when apart.I really think you need to use a statistically significant sample size to base any conclusions. Also I was told an audit is carried out yearly by some professor guy.

wal its not just the same trainer drawn together it is the same initial of the christian name. Look at the meetings where the same initial is in a race and count how often they are drawn together. In most races where there are the same initials, they are drawn together.

Something wrong for sure noticed it a while ago
Check Bulli Wentworth park 3 or four races
Not Randomly possible !
You would get a million to one that happening
So often if the program was true.
A professor of maths would shake his head and
Say improbability.
Can't understand why they cannot re-draw these
Races !
If an audit was done on box draws there would
Be trends.

So your saying it will draw the same surname together and will also draw the same first name /or initial "most" times. I understand it often looks suspect but you guys are looking at small events - one particular race at Launceston ( from Ted) or something that is a million to one at Bulli ???? ( from Chris) Its 7 million to one of winning Lotto and yet most weeks someone wins. Don't play roulette if you think 6 reds in a row are impossible. Probability is just that .... and every new draw or event is mutually exclusive from previous results. You really need better figures to back up your claims.

That's all well and good Wal,Tom all these odds stats. And easy to say don't play roulette, but at the end of the day WE owners and trainers were here first,I just want something that we can see and proven in the code. What is known about this system, NOTHING developed by who, NOBODY.An audit by WHO and results by WHEN. HELLO!!!!!!! It's supposed to shuffle names internally then shuffle to draw boxes, it has no memory but draws names and boxes consecutive and supposed to grade dogs but has RE-DRAW button in case it makes a mistake.GEE I hope nuclear bombs are NEVER controlled by this two bob BRAINWAVE. Yeh talk to GRNSW and get told what, NOTHING run around in the hope you will give up. If a dam had cracks like this software has, you statisticians should buy land under it. No point talking to our state bodies the GOV here it handed it to the codes, Who answer to nobody. I don't see overseas codes jumping over themselves to buy a sieve. Coz it's not fit for RACING consumption
