It gives me great pleasure to announce that Greyhound-Data will be the major sponsor of this years $67,500 Group 1 Megastar Final at Dapto.
I would like to thank the Dapto Club for giving us the opportunity to get involved in this prestigious race series which is run annually in September and is their biggest race of the year.
The series kicks off with the Megastar Prelude Thursday 3rd September followed by the Megastar Final Friday 11th September.
So if you want to see some of the best dogs in Australia go around and enjoy a great night out with the family please put these dates into your calendar. This year The Super Heroes Wrestling show, face-painting and jumping castle will be available for the kids.

As Robyn said, we're in desperate need of sponsorship in Greyhound racing these days, so thanks to Tony & the Data team for their practical support of our code.

I expect plenty of sponsorship Australia wide from the Vetinary brigade owing to the huge profits they will make from the new regulations regarding vaccinations, paid 81.80 yesterday for one C5 injection as per GA new orders

Good on you Tony A great promotion for Greyhound-Data and a fantastic opportunity for Dapto Greyhound Club to join forces with one of the "good guys" of greyhound racing. Along with the Puppy Auction series the Megastar is the pivotal event of greyhound racing at Dapto. It is always a monster of an event with a great support card. "Dapto dogs", just down the road from Sydney, known the world over, and now with a great partner for the Megastar. Good one GD

Well done to greyhound-data. Terrific to see sponsors sticking to the sport, despite all the doom and gloom promoted by those from the outside looking in, and from the administrators who can't see the beauty beyond the white noise. Re the Megastar, we were hoping Tommy Brislane might make it back-to-back, but another minor setback might make it tough. A great video of last year's event brings a tear to my eye!!! EXTERNAL LINK

Thanks for the kind words. He seems to be over the stopper injury, then sprung a toe, then sprained a wrist. Hope to have him back in full work next week.
