Brian one sentence your saying with a science degree in genitics you wouldn't muster a guess and on the other your saying the duplication of black Shiraz and big ginger boy ect on the sire and dam has had a major influence on smart misiles breeding... How do you know that or are you mustering a guess....and I have already stated this on a previous post his not a son his a granson but on how the sons have produced i would not rush into using your dog untill I see how his ofspring perform...thats how I personally feel and I have good reason it's like this if you used a certain sire on a certain brood all the pups turned out shite would you go to a son of that sire for a second litter...

that sire's son shld be seriously considered if the sons damline saturates a sire (at a very high percentage CLICK HERE ), that has previously nicked exceptionally well with your broods damline.........this shld be one of the key criteria when choosing a sire imo, regardless of the sires sire line.
you may have heard people who know a lot about breeding say "breeding is about damlines" this imo is the reason why.

as usual drivel from you. keep it up its great for the thread.
Sorry Brian if you don't like my opinion but let's be real the bombastic Shiraz sire line has been a disaster over here now I know your trying to butter it up by bringing in the dam line but come on some of the stuff your bringing into it is as old as my gran mother...

When I went to school I learnt that the offspring get 50% from the sire and 50% from the dam. This is how it was and this is how it will always be.

At least I can see two sons of Godsend in the Top 100 Irish dogs list for 2017
I can't see any dogs from the Spiral Nikita sire line there
I don't know what tree you are barking up but its obviously a tree where you have an agenda to discredit the dog at any opportunity
Why don't you throw your money where your big mouth is and breed a litter to him?
Then at least you have paid for the right to have a whinge
At the moment you are just talking through your cake hole
Your talking about year 2017 god send is a current sire spiral nakita is dead since 2008 who did you say is talking trough their cake hole... Ya that's right keep talking...

And Bombastic Shiraz was born in 2001...
No Bridget, or whoever you are, you know what I am talking about,
the Spiral Nikita sire line
Can't see one dog in that list with a sire from that sireline

Also has Larkhill Jo sitting in the damline and dam by Hondo Black
With Hondo Black having USA lines as well as Premier Fantasy having USA lines there in lies the clue to Smart Missile
Use your Larkhill Jo line bitches and especially those who may have some USA blood to bind in with Premier Fantasy
As a reminder, one of our top sires here in Australia is Fabregas and he also has Larkhill Jo sitting in the damline as well as Head Hincho further back and has nicked well to Premier Fantasy, Spiral Nikita and Brett Lee bitches
Those who are thinking of using Smart Missile, start checking your pedigrees of your broods and if they carry Larkhill Jo, Spiral Nikita, USA lines, Brett Lee and Head Honcho lines
what has spiral nikita got to do with anything the topic has nothing to do with spiral nikita...sandro who are you trying to convince everyone knows the sire line so far in Ireland has been very poor that's just a plain simple fact...nitro burst is a 2006 whelp which would make him 11 years old how many successful sons has he at stud...would none be the answer...im sorry if you don't like my opinion but here's a simple fact here in Ireland their has been a few sons of bombastic Shiraz at stud all in my opinion turned out well below average so for that reason i am a bit sceptical about how this sire line is going to work here you may not like my opinion but it's a forum and I'm intitled to say what I think...so on that let the dog prove me wrong and 2 years down the road we will see who is right and who is wrong...

Hang on, weren't you the one comparing Smart Missile to Over Limit, who is by Cosmic Rumble by Spiral Nikita
There you were crowing about Over Limit, as id he was the new Brett Lee to hit the Irish shores
I have nothing but praise for Over Limit, I was at The Meadows to watch him race and it was a performance of sustained speed
He was a brilliant dog, and I am not even sure if there are straws here, as he hasn't served a bitch here, but if there were I would be very interested for certain.
I am not saying you are wrong, and I am not saying you are right.
Yes you are entitled to your opinion
But when you toss up an example to discredit Smart Missile by using a son of a failed sireline in your own country then your opinion has serious flaws in it.
No doubt coloured by the agenda you have against this dog.
Dead set, Bridget, you can't even win the argument against yourself
You are now a proven hypocrite

Sandro I was going to bring up the exact same point this morning regarding Spiral Nikita in his homeland...but some of us have commitments to attend to before pleasure lol.
Speed wise how would smart milsile compare to over limit...
Like I said speed wise I never said anything on comparsising their productive ability I only asked the question as over limit is the only other recent import from oz and yes I do like over limit as he brings back some of our old lines and a line as a breeder one would have to like spiral nakita is a sire of dams his sons are also very productive that way... Ye touched on it so I'll give ye some facts godsend top ofspring 7% strike rate late late show with less ofspring 14% romeo recruit 8% never give up with less ofspring 14% will I continue...spirals second ofspring compared to bombastics is far far far superior...

I get that Tony, but what I'm talking about is the step prior to this stage.
Facts are facts my opinion is based on how this sire line is producing here in Ireland plain and simple I'm not impressed am I alone I don't think so let the dog prove me wrong and if he does well won't it be pie in my face...

Like I said spiral was not a sire producing sire but yet his sons in Ireland have produced way better than bombastic sons have in Ireland would you at least agree with that cause that is 100% fact and his dams are world renowned as top top top producers and are also streets ahead of bombastic dams... So with that I rest my case...

More cakehole comments
Bombastic broods are amongst the best in Australia
In saying that, nothing wrong with Spiral Nikita broods either.
Sandro why you getting so defensive it's only an opinion...do you want me to make it all better and say I love the sire line it's been a tremendous addition to Ireland and I urge everyone to stop breeding to proven sires and use this super sire...Sandro my opinion is right by me that doesn't mean it has to right by everyone we all have different opinions so relaxs yourself and have some of that cake you keep talking about...
