The problem is that it so prevalent in the breed these days every sire and dam has either parents , grand parents, great grand parents cousins, litter mates that have had indiscretions

Its a mute argument because if we went with your proposal then over 50% of greyhounds would be eliminated from the racing pool and then even that wouldn't guarantee its elimination
