It would be nice to hear from them Tom especially if people are thinking of handing in their license , an updated statement on their webpage that clubs could put on display at their race meetings would be a good start

They had no right to promise that a limit of 2000 greyhounds and that all greyhounds will be rehomed and that the industry can be held accountable to it.
They should be fighting to not be victimized unfairly not jumping through hoops and making claims like this.
Alan Jones and Ray Hadley are leading the fightback. Without them it would be all over.
Am I the only person disappointed with the visibility of the Alliance in this fightback?

shane,you know and i know,the alliance will not do a thing as thier under a supreme court consideration,till the end of sept,thier legal briefs tried and requested an earlier decision but the judge knocked them back,so it may happen over and over,thats par for the course,they challenged the report, thats all they did,went about it upside down and now people are wondering why no answers,well wait till the end of september and youll get one, but you won,t like it IMO ITS TIME TO GIVE CHARLIE A GO

I haven't seen too many Ads on the TV lately, sponsored by the NSW Gov't (tax payers) and others about the industry, but they should've been taken to task on the figures they presented in those Ads. If they're not accurate, well stop them from advertising. It's not rocket science. The Alliance is waiting on one court matter. . On a side note, I was told that GRNSW has their stewards at TAB and non-TAB race meetings with a security guard !! What overkill !! Duty of Care ?? What is Troy Grant's Police Force doing ?? A patrol would be cheaper, more sensible and legal. I'll let you work out why hiring a security guard might be illegal.

If its done & dusted in legislation, why then still run ads on radio & TV to back their cause. Seems more waste of money than it was before when they had enough numbers to do as they wanted. Who are they trying to convince still?

This government will continue peddling their lies as this is one of their tactics , they are not aimed at the general public they are aimed at us , the participants . What they are trying to do is break peoples spirits , cause divisions in the fight against them . They are losing support left right and centre so all that is left for them are these adds . Even that pleb mark pearson has moved onto kangaroos which will only garner more support for us from the farmers .All these antis that were so passionate have all moved on to the next phase of their boring little lives .The government will continue with these tactics , releasing articles on what will happen with dogs tracks , sending Keniry out to speak to people , telling us how doomed we are but how they will do their best to help us . This is all just a guise trying to bring people down . They know that there are politicians right now sitting in their offices talking between themselves thinking "what have we done and how do we get out of this" . Remember most of these are career politicians and they voted to keep their jobs and they can now see their jobs are in danger from this decision, don't think for one minute they wont turn on their own to save themselves if given the opportunity , we just have to keep fighting and digging and that opportunity will present itself .

John im 100% convinced this will be a massive party in the years to come. Like when I wrote about the idea, I mentioned how the Greens Party got started.It was over the proposed damming of the Frankiln River in Tasmania.Funnily enough I was there at the time, when I was 14 yrs old (1994), doing a tour of Tasmania with family.We saw all the tree hugging greenies doing their protest.Thats how the Greens Party was started, just imagine how big this Party will be, 3 racing codes combined, punters (public), anyone thats involved in any type of racing actually. The Greens Party started over a little minority group, and look at the power they have now.We are protesting over something massive, and thats what this Party will become, massive, and a force to be reckoned with.

How right you are John, even Alan Jones agrees with you, by the sounds of it.Had a look at a personal email Mr.Jones sent to Charlie today! Now im nit going to devulge all the contents of the personal email, but you decide for yourself what Mr Jones is saying, its not that hard to figure out, who he thinks we should be giving a go here, with the backing of HIS, best in the land, personal freinds, ascocciates. Heres one line from Alan Jones I love in his email to Charlie, "Baird has a bible in one hand, and a mallet in another".I like that one, how true. Now for the clincher!
