I dont give a shit what it achieves i signed Fk the horse industry they could of backed us & didn't they deserve what they get if theres no greyhound racing in NSW there shouldn't be any Horse racing either.

Sorry I can't sign this petition even though no horse people came to our aid, I just don't whish for anybody to be gutted the way we have. Believe it or not some of them love their horses as much as we love our dogs and to think of losing them by these means is just not Australian...

Why give power to extreme people. Two wrongs don't make a right. I can understand the feeling of being left out to dry and a knee jerk reaction. I get so confused with all of the really long threads (plus slow internet doesn't help). And I also get confused with the threads that really say something, then they disappear and seem to go no where. What support there is - is all over the place. I thought the main issue was how the current NSW Government leader went about shutting down the industry - reputedly making political deals and then waiting until after the election results to bring out the deal results. I think I have read that there is court action to come and that is the only hope - not 100 per cent informed here. I remember reading about a bank account that was to be opened for people to donate funds - read something about it not being possible with one bank and to wait from there? (auctions for this situation to me just waste time and effort). There was a thread about - all groups to unite under one banner, not sure what happened there. It would be easy for me to say that the Animal welfare people should go and concentrate on the elephants and so on. I see (now that I have Skyracing) all of the older people in particular putting their dogs in the boxes in NSW and it peeves me off that those people will lose a fresh outdoor hobby. I have seen many things disappear over the years in relation to what humans can do (the garbo's that use to run around, even the machines that now serve you at the supermarket) whatever , all I know is that I feel that the leader of your state has no right not to give his so called people a fair go. How can someone sit there and justify poker machines (silent killers and destroyers, and takers), and what an awful pastime (inside and proven to play with peoples' heads and lives, and much more). Who has the right to say that that is acceptable. It is amazing how a government can change things so quickly when it suits themselves. There has always been elements of disrespect to greyhound racing, looked down upon (poor man's racehorse, dishlickers and so on). Many of us, have seen through the comments and attitudes and just continued to Love Our Dogs. We can't help but say it's part of what a lot of us cannot get out of our lives. How could anyone compensate what is put in when it comes to greyhounds. I don't think anyone could afford to compensate anywhere near the real value. Dogs don't live as long as us but they give so much. Greyhounds are not going to become extinct. I just wish that everyone was on the same page somehow, when it comes to fighting the fight and knowing the direction. Most human beings will always need to have some kind of reform (betterment, improvement, refinement), that's life. I cannot believe that the NSW Government leader is so narrow minded when it comes to how he is destroying so many people, and how people are going to be treated in the process. The criminal labelling that is apparently going to come about is appalling, from what I have heard people can be arrested for just having a nice dog that likes to chase, and sent to jail or fined heavily, not sure if this is the case but surely he is creating an untoward state. He obviously has no idea what a lot of hard working people do. We are not robots, we are human beings. Sometimes I have to turn away from the forum for a while because I don't get the direction, I get that people get peeved off for various reasons or point the finger - here, there and everywhere. It is great that there is the forum. But I just hope that there really is more up the sleeve when it comes to full on power to the people.

Mick, while the horses are still around there is hope for us greyhound people. If they go then you may as well take up stamp collecting while they are still printed on paper and haven't become barcodes.

Already on the job . Watching the dogs on Sky and was rudely interrupted by a trot race from Geelong . Be Good Jac backed up from a steady eleventh last night at Horsham in race 2 tonight , he was having such a good time he galloped to the line

IMO the two Horse Racing codes lobbied for us to get shafted, it will all come to light one day when people become more interested in the truth.I say F%&K the other codes they don't give a SHIT about us and haven't they proved it.
