You can't sell dogs at the minute

Let's assume that we will continue to race in NSW, is there any advantage to supply more than 13% of the racing product? Our breeding numbers have reduced by nearly 50% so we won't be able to supply 22% in the near future. A maximum of 13% supply might be easier to regulate and service the industry, I personally hate being restricted but it may be the only way to remain viable in an ever changing world.
The other factor is that NZ have cut their intake of greyhounds from Australia to 20 dogs per month

The last thing NSW wants is to put pressure on the other states and NZ, we need to stay strong and united. Although, if a horsey gets a sneeze we need to be firm and supply only 13% of the racing product, let's face it "they made their bed, they have to sleep in it!"

Any where between 40%and 60% of dogs racing in Victoria are NSW bred so in the near future will Victoria be able to supply enough dogs to fill there racing calender and South Australia will be in bigger trouble to fill there race fields

Mick think March April could be to soon but there is prime opportunity to breed to race at the moment nd find 2 yrs down the track the quality of the opposition has weakened due to the limited breeding been done but only to top grade racers which won't necessary reproduced the parents ability.in thei off spring.
If you have faith in your bitch breed her to race her pups yourself, do everything in your power to prepare them for the track & reap the rewards.
By that time (2 yrs) the numbers will be down & I beleive so will the quality.
