Thanks Chris! But why can they not put the results online immediately the same as race results instead of 6 months later if you're lucky? Seems to me anything to do with the Greyhound industry has to be complicated. Just like the grading system if you have an A5 dog you can run in a higher grade but if you ask can my A5 dog run in an A6 you are told no way can that be possible.

IT gives the boys a chance to sell them on this site before the sales prices are made public.

That's a valid point! But how come the horse racing sales don't hold back on information such as vendor, buyer, price ect; If you go to Tattersalls,Goffs,or any big Thoroughbred sale, what you sold for or how much you paid for a horse including your Name is up on the internet before you get home. Sometimes including how much you spent at the bar. LoL

Agree with you Daniel the amount of shite that some of these lads write about these dogs that they just bought and brought home from the sales only in their kennell 5 minutes and up on the internet for sale again, thats fair enough the best of luck to them if they make a few quid but dont be trying to fill people with shit about dogs that they just bought for e.g

Great dog in kennell very quiet and a great grubber....

Will call ya for work in the morning no prob can read the time !!

Great Traveller with a lovely temperment ..... his granny, great grandfather, uncle and aunty Mary did this that and the other what a load of bullshit out of someone that just brought the dog home from the sales and knows jack shit about their temperment etc. all they know about them is whats on there race cards anything else that there saying is a load of bull shit ..... very annoying and false information in my book.

Ya Ray the same fellas on here and elsewhere on other sites like greyhound scene and racers, there s a few of them that would get an Oscar for telling lies and talking shite about Dogs, as Daniel says it pays to do your home work on both the dog and previous owner because there is a couple of well known owners selling dogs that dont train on and actually go back a mile and fall apart in their new kennell after doing a flashy run before being sold for good money and it dos nt take Columbo to figure out the reason why !!!!!!!!

If it looks to good to be true it usually is, check these boys out the proof is there with the previous dogs they sold its all there carved in stone for anyone to see ......

Kevin
there was an article in two weeks ago sunday independent about a
dealer that bought a foal at the sales last September for 3000 euros
he sold him again in the sales in may for 300000 sterling or about 350000 euros
he only had him for eight months
if a dog left 500 there would be an outcry
with the horses it is business as usual

Great travellers ..... Quiet in kennell ...... etc. what a load of bullshit out of someone that knows jack shit about the dog they just brought home, all they know about the dog is whats on its race card.

Pinhooking is a risky but potential rewarding '' job '' ..... in the instance you mention Thomas we would all like to the guy or gal that made such a profit. Good Luck to them.

That many times I have lost count! What has that to do with looking through the catalogue and forming an opinion? You tell me what stands out?
