Last week in a race at Traralgon a dog or I should say the trainer was given a warning......

7/7/17 Race 7

Meadows last night......

Race 6

Nothing? Watch the home turn and play it over and over, what do you think.

So You have seen it, I was watching live and saw it but the stewards have seen it differently??? Let us see if they choose to run next week.

I watched the race live last night and I immediately thought what you have said about the incident. However, after watching the replay numerous times, I would have to give the dog the benefit of the doubt.
Possibly it ran into the backside of the other dog first, which caused it to open its mouth, thus giving the false impression it was trying to bite the other dog.

To me it's hung jury.

No doubt the stewards have better vision of what we see in the replays, plus a steward who may have observed it,so they are in a better position to make an informed decision.

Same vision Ian apart from the head ons which would not have caught it anyways. We will see if it appears in semis and if it runs. Did you watch the other race? That dog has priors but in the that run it did nothing but break stride, regain balance and won the race.

Charles, the Traralgon race, you said race 7, I would say it is race 8 you mean.
Yes, the dogs racing manners were dubious, to say the least; and it does have an impressive rap sheet.

As for the Meadows, maybe the steward at the boxes saw what happened, though it was half way around the turn.

Like you say, we will watch the semis with interest, next Saturday night..

i don't know what you were watching but it looks pretty obvious to me that it tried to bite it.
