That old fogey idea that it was a no-no, went by the wayside years ago now...so many dogs with it and many, many Group racers and winners have the double up...
I would think the double of New Tears found where they are in this pedigree would have little or no influence other than being a balance for each other coming via a son and daughter.
The influences throughout the pedigree are much different.

Frank
Very interesting mating The 2x2 cross of very similarly bred Dianas Ranger and Lady Climber is interesting and greatly positioned to impact. They both carry Skelligs Tiger and the identically bred Daleys Gold, plus I'm Slippy. Energise is a strongly in-bred bitch carrying the genetic relations Phantom Flash and Westmead Flight (both by Flashy Sir and both out of daughters of Westmead Satin). This mating's double of New Tears makes the Aussie lines of Royal Impact and Roanokee linked even though in a bit of an obscure position. What this pedigree does is actually breed a sire and dam who have VERY much in common in their pedigrees. I like it.
But I would also like to see in future matings you pick up some Sonic Flight to link with his half brother Larkhill Jo (lots of successful crosses for this), and also some Fortress somewhere (in Kinloch Brae) to link with his genetic brother Murlens Slippy (the cross found in Ballymac Vic).
