Congratulations to Brooke & Jamie Ennius & of course Barooa Brett for a hard fought win in the Group 1 Silver Chief. Showed a lot of heart & could be a potential stud dog down the track

Sincere congratulations to Brooke, Jamie and Barooga Brett on winning the 2019 Silver Chief Group One at The Meadows!!
A terrific young dog! Also very proud of his parents, the excellent Barcia Bale who has worked so well with our line, and his mother, Destini Gold who overcame many challenges to even get to be a brood.
We enjoy barracking for you Barooga Brett!!!! ***

Congrats Norm on another Group winner from your line
If only your stud dogs were given a better run from breeders, especially Destini Fireball, who stats from limited matings are pretty good

Barooga Brett appears primarily and intensely linebred in the x path to cornerstone brood Venetian Rose through full blood relations Roman Earl,Venetian Court & Venetian Babe.
Very hard to get anything linbred primarily in x to Venetian Rose anymore. These were some of her past efforts:
Train A Journey 9 x 8 in the primary in x to Venetian Rose Bearability 7 x 6 in the primary in x to Venetian Rose Primo Uno 7 x 8 in the primary in x to Venetian Rose Countess of Cork 8 x 10 in the primary in x to Venetian Rose National Queen 5 x 6 in the primary in x to Venetian Rose Topline Doovee 10 x 8 in the primary in x to Venetian Rose Shy Sarah 4 x 3 in the primary in x to Venetian Rose Traction Control 8 x 7 in the primary in x to Venetian Rose Fag Ash 4 x 4 in the primary in x to Venetian Rose
Mainly thru littermates Venetian Babe and Venetian Court, however Bearability & Fag Ash is thru other full blood relation Roman Earl.
Amazing how these older blue blood broods still provide great input into pedigrees today.

I think if you win a group 1 youre entitled to go to stud Mark.
Breeders will be the judge if and when he does
Ryan Great insight. Would primo uno bitches go well with Barcia then?

Glenn it really depends on the rest of the bitches pedigree and I'd want to check the damline and what sires have clicked with the line previously. Linebreeding in x is just one aspect that may create intensity within a pedigree. Cheers.

He's won two Group 1's and last night his Temlee win was done in a PB of 29.64
Was a great field that contained 5 other Group 1 winners
You would think he has deserved his guernsey at stud now

A fantastic win by Barooga Brett in the 2018 Temlee! Congratulations to Brooke and Jamie and especially the boy himself!!
It was a first class field and to do it from box 6 was an amazing effort. The youngest (and heaviest) competitor in the field too. An amazing athlete! No doubt celebrations at the Barooga Pub were in place too.
