The AGM of the DGOBA took place this evening. A large crowd turned out for the occasion. Many of those attending had very strong views on the manner in which the Industry is being managed. All of those in attendance agreed that discussions must be entered into with the IGB before the industry looses five or six more stadiums. Over the next few weeks the new committee will produce a paper for the IGB to digest after which we will seek a meeting with the CEO and or the Board members. A few on the night aired their views on the CEO and the Board members some believe the IGB will refuse to meet with a representation from the DGOBA. Personally I believe they will meet for discussions. The easiest way to solve problems is through negotiations. In my capacity as a Qualified Mediator I find discussions solve a lot of the problems.
Well its getting late, tomorrow I will give you the full list of committee members for the year ahead.
Don't forget to renew your your membership of the DGOBA.
Yours in Greyhound Sport.
Alan Redmond.
