Hi Lindsay,
Dundee Smokey had some bad luck he tore his achilles tendon,
he wasn't lame but required surgery and has healed well.
He was ready to start trialling but he caught a virus and it's
taking forever to get over it. To look at him you wouldn't know
his coats shining eating well so just have to be patient.
His brother Dundee Rebel had a virus as well but he's recovered
and his first trial back at Sandown went 29.22 then 29.34 and won
his first race back in 29.35 so i am hoping he keeps up the form.
Regards Geoff

Dundee Smokey made a successful return to racing at Geelong
last night 21/04/23 winning a special event over 400 metres
in a fast 22.14. That was after a four month layoff and a
limited preparation.
