What a race it was between Maireads and Tyrur Liz. Two superb semis and its going to be a fantatic final if all the big guns make it through!

Congratulations to all the connections of Maireads Fantasy on a fantastic track record.
Tyrur Liz lost nothing in defeat either, showing huge pace down the back straight and home to close the gap on Maireads.
They have avoided each other in the semi finals.
Ok Mr JD I ll let you have the bragging rights from last night with 2 winners against my 1.....
I ll claim a half a bonus point for the track record aswell.
It looks straight forward for the two hotshots in trap 6 next week but nothing should be taken for granted.
This is a hot competition.

Two excellent semi finals of JP & Trevor Oaks are supplemented by one of the best open sprint line ups ever to grace the track. The 845 races are a great spectacle also, with Rough Quest making his Newbridge debut. Local favourite Pluto Rocket returns from Shel too. Really top class racing this weekend in Newbridge...

My Semi final winners

Faypoint Lauren - Tyrur Liz

Maireads fantasy is drawn in 6 and she has only ever one once from 6 - there is a lot of early immediately inside her - I hope she can win or at least qualify.
Tyrur Liz has the easier of the two semis if you can call it easier.

both favourites beaten in semis - trap 6 is the great leveler
maireads fantasy missed the kick and got into a bit of bother and ran very well to qualify - tyrur liz broke well but got a bump and could not catch the staying droopys kinja-
very interesting final

6 wins out of 7 trap 1 draws is fairly impressive for Tiny - you might be right Colm
