what a wonderful bitch. There is no doubt she would be the most valuable unproven bitch in the country when she goes to stud. Like I said before there is no stud dog that throws bitchs like Head Bound. It is great to see Brian pulling off a big one with her. Congrats Brian and Lois.

He was banging on about your stud dog on another forum and we were forced to listen.

He has been proved right big style.

A sign of a Top Class stud Dog is when he throws Bitches as fast/faster than his dogs, hope she stays sound.

Stephen,
You may not be inspired by his race record, but does the fact that he produced last years Derby favorite and this years Derby fastest first round winner and probable outright winner not inspire you also?
If you are not impressed yet, we have next years Derby winner by Headbound. Watch out for Almost Chilli.
When her mother, Almost Jet In was 12 months, I said 'this bitch is a bit special'. She went on to break the 830 yard clock at Enniscorthy and win many other open races.
When Chilli's grand dam Almost Deadly was 12 months, I said'this bitch is a bit special'.
She was dog of the year in Enniscorthy, ran in ten open stakes, reached 10 finals, winning 4, second in 3 and third in 3. 26 from 44 Open race wins with, I think, finishing outside the first three, four times.
Chilli is now 12 months old and I'm saying 'this bitch is EXTRA special'!!
Headbound has to be one of the best sires standing in Ireland.

Congratulations, I remember we were both singing Headbounds praises in August 2007 and you said then (see above and under the topic Headbound, what a sire) that you had a 12 month old bitch that was going to be extra special...it's all the sweeter when you're proven right. Delighted she's gotten out and away to prove her undoubted class. Hopefully she'll win many more big ones and then continue in the breeding paddocks for you.
