Thanks Tony,
If it helps, I am operating via "Google" as well, however I am experiencing the exact same problem if I use - Microsoft Edge or Firefox.

Hi guys, thanks. Our IT cannot reproduce what you are seeing. They have asked me to get you to try holding the Ctrl and the Shift button down and then press R on your keyboard. Can you please let me know if this has worked.

Hi Tony, Have tried their suggestion, but it's still the same.

I have the same problem as described by others, and it started at the same time I began getting (at log in stage) the screen message that;
"greyhound-data (is) checking if the site connection is secure.....greyhound-data.com needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding".
A coincidence?

I don't mind that its checking that it is a secure connection at the start of using the site, but whilst using the site I notice it can be deathly slow at refreshing pages

Sandro, I also have no problem whatsoever with ensuring the connection's secure, but I was wondering whether the problem of poster's details not being shown and the introduction of ensuring a secure connection are somehow related.

Hi Michael, Thanks for the input. The security has been put on due to bots trying to hack the website, it has not affected me but it may be the reason some members are having this problem. I will get out IT to investigate.

Tony,
Now that Michael mentions it, I started experiencing the problem at precisely the same time as well, so perhaps it is connected in some way?
By the way, pressing the Ctrl + Shift + R keys had no effect.

The security check has been turned off. Has this fixed the problem?

Unfortunately not Tony, still encountering the same problem.

Ok mate, we know it's not the browser or the security setting. I will let our IT know. Is the rest of the website except for the forum working ok?

Exactly the same for me So when i post this reply, I can see all the other posts and the posters names (as it normally is) When i go to view another thread ,it reverts to not showing the posters names I too get the extra security message as i log in I have no trouble with using the rest of the site, other than the poster name issue

Tony.
What security do you have about the credit card details I've given to be a paid-up member of this site?
If your "I.T." people can't fix a simple problem like this I'm a bit worried about having all my bank details disclosed to a third-party site.
I hope your "gurus" are not based in India, or thereabouts.
I'm keen to know Tony, and reassurance, or otherwise, would be reassuring; or not.

Tony,
I have checked the site (being "logged in" and "logged out"), and as far as I can tell the remainder of the websites options/fields are operating fine and as intended, it only seems to be the Forum section (All topics), that is being problematical.

Thanks David. Tomorrow I will get the IT to do a reboot on the forum file in the database.

Thank you Tony, hopefully that will rectify the problem(s).
Typical, with regards my previous post, the one place I didn't thoroughly check was - "Tracks", and it would appear (for me any way), that this section isn't functioning properly either.
If I click on the Country tab(s) it just gives me the information regarding that country but does not show me the track listings (as per below examples),.
If I search for a particular dog, then click on it's races, and in turn click on a track that it raced, then that tracks information does appear, giving me access to that tracks particulars e.g. - About, Track Records, Fast Times, and Trap Statistics, however, if from here I try and click on the countries listed above again, it simply reverts back to that countries information page, again with no track listings.

Tony.
Any response regarding the credit card issue I mentioned.
I had a hard time logging in today because it kept saying "too many connections to this site" - and the screen went blank.
