I mentioned to some 'Yanks' on G-G he was ' bred upside down ' and they agreed...didn't set the world on fire as a stud...but think his name should live on in his daughters...hope so...

Would have used him for sure here if possible...

Wonder how something like this would go...

Surgeon is the fastest greyhound to ever grace a track imho.

Guys. this thread is asking for the WORLDS GREATEST GREYHOUND.

Can anyone come up with 1 dog who has won 6 of their countries most prestigious level races? with multiple T/R and world record prizemoney.

Hi Craig, I honour your reply however as far as world record prizemoney is concerned
The other countries p/money isnt as good as ours so therefore it would have to be one almighty dog to do it overseas. In saying that in America I believe that if not still Flying Stanley is/was the highest stakes earner in the world.

More like 8 prestigious races Craig and a couple slightly smaller but still worth bragging about trophies...Oh you forgot to mention the Greyhound of the Year award.

Hi Steve, are you talking about High Earner here? Great dog but I have to be honest Idk how the heck he won what he did because for mine there have been a few dogs before him that have been better but didnt do as well obviously.

The best dogs in Australia during recent decades and currently are still coming from one main damline. A bitch called "JUST PONDER" whelped 1927....

Offspring from the direct damline of JUST PONDER include to name just a hand full:

Brett Lee
Rapid Journey
El Grand Senor
Bogie Leigh
Highly Blessed
Head Honcho

E.T.C, E.T.C

My vote for WORLD'S GREATEST GREYHOUND currently "JUST PONDER 1927"
