What an impressive win this bitch just had at Wpk.
She won by 14 in 29.79 after being cut off at the start.
Trained by Jason Mackay who knows how to get them going.
She has an interesting pedigree & comes from one of my old favorite damlines that show up from time to time ---> CLICK HERE

Bred by Dawn Garret and reared by Mick Ivers. If i told you what she sold for as a pup, you'd cry.

Steve, runts dont sell for 4 figures LOL

Sandro, yeah, they did, and Mick offered other pups quite cheap, got no offers. I reckon he scares them off by not charging enough.

I knew they were cheap Jeff and your also right.....Cheap prices do scare off customers. I just sold 2 pups at a ridiculous price and the first question asked was....Is that 4 sale price right.
You gotta do what ya gotta do I say.
Sometimes it works ;-)

Anyone in sales will tell you that selling things cheap raises eyebrows....must be something wrong with it lol.

Another pup from the litter won yesterday at Nowra. They all seem to have ability including pride of egpyt which Dawns owns & trains.

Happy to be the owner of one of the pups from the El Grand Senor litter. Hopefully Meech has as much ability as his half brothers and sisters.

You will also hear more from another one from the litter - Pride Of Egypt looks like being a handy stayer. He was very strong at the end of 635m on a very soft track at Lismore last Tuesday. Best of luck with him Dawn (tho I hope he gets caught in traffic next week!)
Cheers,
Tom

Watching that 4th/5th grade at The Gardens on the 15th of feb I could not help but think it would not be long before the first two would be running in all the top grade stayers races.

That was a huge run by Pride of Egypt to run second.
