Noel A dilapidated Collusion Team of GRNSW and that team could be disbanded and when they adopt recommendation 4 of the inquiry then we will see who has being acting illegally ! Noel we all must be diligent and if you notice a few have detached from their teams. Example Smith GBOTA and Simpson GRNSW these are high ranking officials in their teams WHY ?We wonder what the Colonel will have him say next!

For once i can say a productive day at MacQuarie St i believe we are a step closer to our goal which is A FAIR GO for all participants in our code of racing, its about moving forward and i believe that its happening.Many thanks must go to the select committee for looking at the industry as matter of urgency.I know participants have been frustrated by the delay with the final report, we all must understand they have got to get it right or it could be the end of our code of racing here in NSW .Since the inquiry concluded a lot of information has come forward from many in the industry re the Governance of greyhound racing here in NSW .As suggested today at this meeting of Parliamentary heads they would like to hear from participants ( the major stakeholders) about the administration of greyhound racing here in nsw you should forward your concerns to the follow email address Alex Bruce Chief of Staff Office of the minister for hospitality,gaming and racing minister for the arts [email protected] and Robert Borsak MLC
[email protected] here is the chance for Vince and all participants to put forward their concerns its time for all to speak UP!

Vicki The word around the traps is that after the recent resignation of a board member. Is he will be parachuted into the Wagga gig on the Colonel recommendation just like what happen at the Gardens .Just look at the inquiry findings 2 and their recommendation , looks like they have jumped onto a ship that is sinking

James I will be brief Once a member of the Maitland Branch of the GBOTA it was a very lengthy process and at a cost to the association of around $ 20.300 Now we must remember that the constitution is quite clear and provides for members to appeal against any decision made by the board. Clause 24.8 of the constitution provides as follows> A member who has been suspended or expelled may appeal against the decision of the Directors to the Appeals Tribunal. Now 13.9.2013 The Board Of Directors found me Guilty of a breach of Clause 24.1,5 of the Association's Constitution and suspend me for a period of 12 months as from the 16.9.2013 .Under clause 24.8 of the constitution you have the right of appeal which i did so on the 17.9.2013. Now on the 10.9.2013 i forwarded my concerns re the the behavior of a director and the CEO at the Bi Annual meeting at Maitland The reply from the board said they had no case to answer too. I could not believe the hypocrisy of it all, This made me more determine to go a head with my appeal . James i put before you and the 5 minute wonder ! The DECISION by P.R.Callaghan S.C. as follows
(a) In respect of the directors' finding of Guilt of a breach By Mr Whitelaw of the constitution clause 24.1.5 in respect of the first allegation, I dismiss the appeal.
(b) In respect to the directors' finding of guilt of a breach by Mr Whitelaw constitution clause 24.1.5 in respect of the second allegations ,I Uphold the appeal.
(c) In respect of the directors ' suspension of Mr Whitelaw from membership of the GBOTA for a period of 12 months from 6.9.2013,I Uphold the appeal to the extent that in place of that suspension .I suspend Mr Whitelaw from Membership of the GBOTA for a period of 6 months from the 3.2.2014 Now to blame me for this process i feel is unfair any member of the GBOTA have the same right but there is one thing i would never do again apply for membership of The GBOTA they are not representing the best interest of their members like they once did its now about individuals and what they can get for them self they have CEO who flys in and out from S.A were he lives and the NSW participants are fitting the bill ITS become a Joke !

SELF EGO one should move away from the MIRROR Vince. As far as waste of members funds are concern your Directors set up the process not i and it sounds like you are content with their costly process that these Directors put in place you as a member should be looking at changing the process so when the next member appeals which i have been told is about to happen again, it wont be so costly.As they are members they have right no matter what the cost are !
