We have just adopted Compass Gabby (now known as Trixie) to keep our staffy-cross company. She is adorable and the most stubborn Greyhound I have ever had (I have had 2 of my own and 2 foster greys in the past).

We adopted two last year and the bitch ( like Trixie also white & black ) is as lazy as they come , has been known ( many times ) to lie down in the street if I stand still too long , and when it is very warm will suddenly stop while on lead walk and lie down to sunbathe. A real character.
Jenny...good luck with Gabby , now Trixie. I have her mother Compass Becky here beside me and she is delighted to hear that one of her youngest of 38 offspring has made it to the sofa at just 2 1/2 years of age! Gabby was never destined for fame on the track being just 53 lbs. I hope you will have many happy years together.

She's settling in here really well, learning the ropes. Her and Lulu, our staffy, have the odd word with one-another, usually over a bone, but they get on well. She's wonderful with our 4 year old daughter too. Lovely to hear from her Mum! And from someone who knew her as a youngster :-)
