I would like to know how to find out about my new greyhound, she is called Meg, 10 years of age, and used as a brood bitch, I adopted her in december 2014, just before christmas, as a companion to beauty.
She is a vvery nervous girl, who hates men, ex=specially if they are wearing yellow. I cannot make out the tattoo on her right ear, it looks to me as though it is SWHP/5WHP/ Meg is a 10 year old girl.
any help would be most appreciated. thank you

I found out about our ex racing greyhound by sending an email to the Irish stud quoting her ear tattoos. They came back with her name, Linwood delight, and birth year. We knew she was from Ireland from her ear tattoos, but if yours are hard to read try her racing name, Hope this is of help.

If she has a mark in only one ear, then she is British bred
The mark will be 3 letters and a number - could the "P" be an "8?"
If so, then the rest of the litter will have the same letters, and she has at least 7 brothers and sisters
You could try contacting the Greyhound Stud Book at Newmarket to see if they can help
