There is a sighthound re-homing and supporters group in Victoria who are working with trainers and owners to re-home retired greyhounds. They are NOT an 'anti' group and recognise the breed is strong and genetically free of disease and faults due to the best racing stock being bred. Unfortunately GRV are not as supportive as they could be - concentrating on their own GAP program. I have found this group very sincere and they defend the greyhound racing industry. Check them out on Facebook and the internet. If anyone can help them with a donation or in anyway I think they deserve support.
