I feel compelled 2 post this topic in this column even though it probably won't get a reply from anybody but it isn't meant 2 achieve that. I'm am completely amazed 2day cos I thought I had seen it all but I was wrong thankfully. I was minding my own business having lunch inside my wagon outside my local fish & chip shop when I spotted a very very little old lady who must have been in her mid 80's that unfortunately lost her mobility & was driving 1 of those small motorised contraptions so she can still have some independence 2 get out & about in the community in general, then my eyes just popped out of their sockets WOW ! With a long lead attatched 2 her cart was a lovely black ex K9 racing bitch that had a bright pink collar that was a deadest cert 2 me that it was an adopted K9 from a rehoming program who was happily prancing beside her. I must say this little old lady certainly takes wonderful care of this bitch as her coat was bright & shiny + it was definitely living in a good paddock if ya get my drift folks ! Just that sighting alone filled the fueltank that keeps the fire in my belly burning bright keeping my faith in that ALL IS NOT DOOM & GLOOM in our K9 world & THERE IS STILL a lot of good people out there who really care & do give a damn about what we all know & love + if a human being at that stage & point in its life can take on a ex K9 racer & actually provide care 2 it at a very high standard then NOTHING is impossible . I was gobsmacked & really happy & it has made my month people ! Kind regards 2 all that read this post.

Good to see.

In saying that, I walk my retired bitch Nosey Rozy every morning and afternoon. All the locals know her and love her, always stopping to give her a pat, as do the school children waiting for their school bus. She's attracting more attention at the moment because of her swelling belly....a litter of Cosmic Rumbles due early June and all of them want to come and see Rozy's pups when they are born.

I am quite astonished that my post has been actually read by so many thus far let alone receiving a reply from a G.D friend in Germany no less. Just proves that how far ranging our threads can go & can join 2gether people from all walks in our love 4 this supreme breed of K9 that commands respect , love & admiration from all who are PRIVALEDGED 2 have them in our lives in any way, shape or form. Glad 2 see this site being visited by individuals from around the globe. G/DAY Monika ! Thanks 4 the reply. Best Wishes...
