Guys I know I am going to get swamped which I don't mind so forgive me when I ask the emails to stop.
But I need a bunch of shots of our great greyhound friends in their lives after retirement.

Whether it is as mums, hanging with other dogs and cats, being family members, dogs that have been injured but are now pets. Enjoying family life with families and kids.

If you are happy that I may use these to help promote our industry and therefore that they may be used in media then please send through. If you have any nervousness about that please don't.

Let me stress if There are people in the shots you have to be equally happy that they be seen in media too.

These shots may be used to negate statistics about greyhounds being destroyed as soon as their value to racing has expired.

Thanks kindly to those who have anything.

Best Andrew

Brilliant stuff Andrew. All the best with what you are about to do mate.
Let me know if I can contribute in any way.
I've got a photo of my girl Chelsea in the back of a ute with a blue heeler, a fox terrier and a chook.
Yep, a chook. We were moving house and they were the last things to come so in the ute they went.
I'll see if I can dig it up.

Guys these photos are incredible. I am so sorry you can't see what I am seeing. I love it. Shots of one dog in the wedding party then strolling in LA.

Once this job is done we will build a website and show everyone how good and how many there are in life long after racing.

You guys are too good. Please I need more.

Thanks Nathan. Guys the response has been amazing. Some of the shots I have are incredible. To think that in a matter of hours I have received hundreds of photos shows just how many of these great dogs have lives well after racing and how wrong the critics are.

At some point in the next two weeks I will share what is being done which I am in discussion with the GBOTA about and which they are endorsing.

Once that is done and as soon as I have time I will get back to you about a site. It is wrong that only I can see the unbelievable love and respect for the dogs which the animal activist groups claim does not exist.

Best to all.

Please hold off on photos for now as I have more than enough.

Thanks again.

I'll send some of my 5 couch hogs mate. The NGF has been printing alot of pics including some of mine in 'Retired not expired'. Maybe they could let you have all their's as they have all been used publicly in their paper. Just a thought. Sorry didn't see your last post saying you had enough. Good luck with it all.

Just shot you an email Andrew, well worth a read.

Also let me know if you would like to use a pic of my recently passed Grand Aria, I have a pic of her pink urn... and loads of pics to show her transformation from racing to her final breakfast eating bacon... as a 10 year old. Had her from age 4 months!

Just sent you 10 photos of two ex-racers that have found loving homes and are very much enjoying their retirement. Also one that never made it to the track but was retained as a pet until her erosive polyarthritis got to her spine.

Send him those photos guys.. it's a positive message : Retired doesn't mean expired!

Ok guys thanks for help so far. Now I need a photo or three of people over 60 with greyhound (s).

Ideally a trainer going to the track or looking like a trainer. This shot will be used in a brochure to make the point that the industry does not discriminate with age and provides opportunities for people over the age of 60 for employment.

Thanks in advance

Now Jamie I'm 62 and still can cut it. Only joking no offence taken. We are an aging industry and need some young blood urgently. Cheers
