She never won a race in the 3 starts she had on the track. But I still kept her on as a pet and bred one litter from her (which won in NSW, VIC, SA, QLD and NZ)

Mike Baird and Troy Grant reckons she was part of the "wastage" statistics for being too slow and never winning a race.

I think Tasha would strongly disagree with them.

She's laying on my lounge at the moment, sharing my breakfast with me, she'll have a little party later on with her granddaughter Wednesday and Wednesday's 8 months old Banjo Boy pups. (Tasha is a very proud great grandmother)

P.S Oh and I also have other oldies whose birthdays are coming up too. They were reckoned as part of the wastage statistics too :-O One is coming up 11 years old,one is soon to be 10 years old, three are 9 years old, one is 8 years old, one is 6 years old and one is 5 years old.
My mum has 5 oldies of her own. A trainer friend has 12 (yes 12!) retired greyhound pets.
