EXTERNAL LINK Liebe Freunde der Greyhoundhilfe, leider hatte unsere erste Vorsitzende gestern, am 16.3., einen schweren Unfall. Sie war mit ihren eigenen Hunden und einigen Pflegehunden auf dem Rckweg von einem schnen Tag im Freilauf. Warum und wie dieser Unfall geschah ist noch vllig unklar und es wre reine Spekulation darber zu schreiben. Wir wissen momentan nur, dass Iris auer Lebensgefahr ist. Von der emotionalen Seite, 11 Hunde auf einen Schlag verloren zu haben, davon wollen wir nicht reden. Es war auch groes Glck im Unglck, dass 3 Hunde noch berleben konnten. Egal wie die Hunde im Auto gesichert waren, so wie das Autowrack aussieht, htten Boxen nicht mehr Hundeleben retten knnen. Die 3 Hunde sind mittlerweile alle in Sicherheit und in Obhut von uns. Wir mchten mit diesem Post aber nicht nur Gerchten, Halbinformationen oder gar den vereinzelten "Selbst-Schuld-Kommentaren" entgegentreten, sondern uns auch fr die vielen, vielen Beileidsbekundungen, Genesungswnsche, Hoffnungswnsche, positive Energie, spontane Spenden, Hilfsangebote und noch so viel mehr, BEDANKEN! Wir sind sprachlos, einfach nur sprachlos vor Freude darber. Wir werden Iris darber berichten und hoffen es hilft. Wir hoffen nun, dass wir trotz allem mit unseren Vermittlungen und nchsten Transporten im Sinne von Iris fortfahren knnen, bis sie wieder fit ist. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal! Unfortunately, our first chairman had a serious accident yesterday, March 16th. She was with her own dogs and some grooming dogs on the way back from a beautiful day in the free air. Why and how this accident happened is still completely unclear and it would be pure speculation to write about it. We know at the moment only that Iris is a life-threatening one. From the emotional side of having lost 11 dogs in one fell swoop, we do not want to talk about that.
It was also great luck in the misfortune that 3 dogs could still survive. No matter how the dogs were secured in the car, as the car wreck looks like, boxing could not save any more dog life. The 3 dogs are now all in safety and in charge of us.
With this post, we would like to confront not only rumors, half-information, even the singled "self-blame comments", but also for the many, many condolences, congratulations, hopeful wishes, positive energy, spontaneous donations, relief offers and so much more , THANK YOU! We are speechless, simply speechless with joy. We will report Iris and hope it helps.
We now hope that we can continue with our negotiations and the next transports in the sense of Iris, until she is fit again.
