Any luck with Perry Barr, Helen? Been searching through loads of old stuff but have'nt come up with anything yet. Don't forget to ask who their photographer is. If your grey won trophies etc., there will be pics.

Hi all, back on line again (for now..)
Janice, its really nice to see ours have the same grandfather, Barney & Timmy also have the same grandfather on the other side (Linda's Champion) which is also Sally's great-grandfather, it's nice to see relatives all over the place!!
I'd love to get videos of Timmy, Sal & Barney racing, at the moment I'm still looking into Barney's background but I would dearly love to get hold of vids of Timmy - I so wish we'd got video of him while he was with us so any vids of him racing really would be brilliant, we believe he raced at Crayford - I dont know if Vincent Vids would be able to help but shall give them a try, Alan - hello again, thanks for the link. if anyone could suggest anything else I will be very grateful.
Update on Barney - after a few days of finding his feet (or rather paws) he is turning out to be a very affectionate, boisterious boy who loves to play with tennis balls, eat pilchards and chips, and for some reason bark at us when we go up the stairs... can anyone shed any light on the last bit??
Kim, thank you & big belly rubs to Rio & Seamus, hope Shane is well.
xx

Hi Joanne,

I'm not sure if you still read through Data but I was searching through some old threads myself and noticed this one from 2006.

We used to race at Newton Abbot and I think your boy was known as Bandit while he raced there.

He was top grade and from what I remember won a few. We don't have any videos or photos of him but its great to know he landed on his feet in retirement.

I hope he's still doing well.

Bev

Looking at his stats he was disqualified from racing for fighting last time out, wasnt a bad runner either by the looks of things..But i think this can mean anything like just turning his head or palyful nipping.Im sure the experts will be along to tell you more.
Sure your going have many a happy years ahead...cant wait for pics!

Leanne, how can you tell if a dog was disqualified for fighting ?

Hi Gina, On his race form it has on his last race 'Fght2, Disq' in the comments box. Which according to this he had a go on the 2nd bend - however having race in the UK I have found that some judges see a different race and also it can depend on whether others have complained which is quite the norm. with some people. Some get unfairly disqualified.
