We are looking for a cat friendly greyhound to live in a family home in Sydney (Castle Hill). The waiting list with GAP for a dog that fits this criteria seems pretty long. We also have 3 young kids 6-8.
Ideally, we need the biggest nonnie who is friendly, laid back and just wants the good life., and who is happy to be outside during the day. Sex or colour unimportant.
Anyone have a dog that might suit?

Thanks Julie, it seems to tie in as part of a national GAP program or do I have that wrong?

Good on you, Anne, I wasn't aware of other Groups beyond GAP and The Dogs (which have both been very helpful). It's just the wait of 6 months or more when the kids would love one now. I'll follow those thoughtful suggestions up.
