It's not too late to enter into this event at 10 am prompt on June 20th, to raise awareness about Greyhound adoption and ownership. There are 44 venues all around the UK, probably one not too far away from you. Unfortunately none as yet in Eire, or Northern Ireland, but perhaps this will encourage someone to get a group together (or even walk their Grey on their own!) to show the world what wonderful pets Greyhounds are. Entry is FREE, or you can make a donation if you wish to the charity your local group supports.

Come on Ireland! I'd love to see a walk organised on the Emerald Isle, home of so many Greyhounds!

Sharon, you could do a Little Local Walk on your own! Be the first in the Emerald Isle! Have a look at the website, there are people doing that, just walking on their own with their Grey(s) on the day at that time. I'd be so proud of you. Have a look here:

I don't really know! But the organisers will be able to tell you. This page has their phone numbers and email contact:

Well done! You're FAB! You might be the only one in the whole of Ireland!! They'd have to put your walk on the map!

But let's hope some more will join in, eh?

I shall be walking at the same time, and I'll think of you Sharon. x

Anyone who has the pleasure of owning one or more Greyhounds, should try to go on this walk on the 20th at the time stated on the Greyhound walks forum. They are trying to get at least a thousand hounds walking on that day, We will be at Chelmsford essex with our three.

My Greyhound Group is issuing rosettes. I don't know where they are getting them from, but I'm sure you could stick something on yourself if you want to be a part of this.

Never mind, Sharon ... it's a big thing to be the Only Great British Greyhound Walker in the Whole of Ireland!! No one could blame you for not doing it.
