Please do not use the word "friends" when referring to this organisation. They are the enemy of anyone who cares about animals and has them as companions. Take a look at these quotes taken directly from their website.
"....we believe that it would have been in the animals' best interests if the institution of "pet keeping"i.e., breeding animals to be kept and regarded as "pets"never existed.... This selfish desire to possess animals and receive love from them causes immeasurable suffering, which results from manipulating their breeding, selling or giving them away casually, and depriving them of the opportunity to engage in their natural behavior. They are restricted to human homes, where they must obey commands and can only eat, drink, and even urinate when humans allow them to....."
and
....no breeding can be considered "responsible."
This organisation is "extreme", and no-one should under-estimate the potential danger they pose to us.
I see from there website that NISSAN is a sponsor of them.
I suggest we fight fire with fire, and DO NOT support anyone who supports them. And tell these sponsors why.

See on the news today that a Vegan couple in France has been charged with death of their child due to vitamin deficiency..........the underlying premiss that peta lives by is that we all should be vegan.......no pets, no animal products, not even milk or eggs!!!!!!!!!!!
How do they justify such an outcome???????
