I am organising a Memorial / Fundraising Meeting at Yarmouth Stadium in aid of the local branch of the RGT, Yarmouth Greyhound Homefinders (YGH).

This morning I received a telephone call from John "Curly" Wilson, who is a bookmaker at Sittingbourne, and he, along with Gary Wiltshire have given me a free bet of 50 e.w. on Ayamzagirl at 14/1 in the TV Trophy being run at Sittingbourne, with any winnings going to the YGH.

If my favourite marathon bitch does not win, or place, John and Gary have said they will still donate the 100 stake to the charity.

I think this is a wonderful gesture on their part and I cannot thank them enough for their support.

There really are some big hearted good guys still out there.

regards,
Maureen
