Dear friends, we are very happy to announce that on Saturday the 7th of May 18 greyhounds and 2 lurchers landed on their forever sofas.
We'd like to thank everyone involved in this.
And especially:
- the greyhounds who make such wonderful pets;
- our adopters;
- our home checkers and all our volunteers;
- our vet Dr.Ileana Mainini;
- everyone at the Agriturismo Calcaterra in Ozzero (Milan);
- Hannah and her team (Cottage Rescue),Francesca (The Greyhound Hut) Sheena and her team (CAW) and the trainers and owners (Max&Hayley, Darren&Carol, Tina, Tara, Rick, Desmond, Mick&Leonie) for sending their greyhounds in such great shape. A HUGE thank you goes to Mick who went through a lot of trouble to help a dog that wasn't his. A special thank you goes also to Brian Jones who is still offering assistance with this dog;
- the IGB for their financial support;
- Kathleen for her general support, patience and steely nerves;
A very BIG THANK YOU to Dominic and his team, the dogs arrived in amazing condition as always. Happy and relaxed!

Thanks to Dominic and Tony for taking care of my 2 in transit and, of course, to Francesca for finding homes for them.

A huge well done & a million thanks to everyone involved. It always amazes me to see how happy and well the dogs all look after such a long journey. I'm sure they will all soon settle in with their new families and many thanks to them for offering these special dogs a home forever.

A great achievement in this current economic climate when a lot of charities seem to be having to deal with as many 'returns' as 'retired's' Good luck to all the dogs and their new owners.
