An email sent to the Greyhound Adoption Program in Victoria about the greyhound Coment (aka Awesome Zed). We thought that if his owners or connections are here on Greyhound Data, they might like to see how he is going:

To the staff at the Greyhound Adoption Program,

We adopted Comet a week before Christmas 2010 and although we have already contacted his previous owner, we thought we'd share a few recent photos of him.

He has adopted to pet life really well and is getting SO much love wherever he goes!! Francesca and I are both shift workers but he is rarely left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time, and he gets daily walks and lots of soft toys to play with so he doesn't seem to get too bored!

He's very low maintenance and we love him very much. We have discovered he has a very cheeky side to him and he loves to play with us and get his big chest rubbed every now and then. He's also extremely greedy :) but very easy to discipline - just a short loud clap or "uhh-ahhh" and he'll stop what he's doing and know it's wrong.

He has a beautiful temperament and a is a wonderful greyhound. Thank you for all of your assistance through the adoption process. We can't thank you enough as he is such a joy to us. We look forward to fostering in the near future to help other greyhounds be adopted out into the community.

Samantha and Francesca
