The Greyhound Adoption Program (Victoria) received the following email today from the new owners of Bolt (now known as Jaspa). We thought his connections might like to hear how he is going in his new home.

Hi Larissa

Jaspa loves his new home!!

We just LOVE him.

He has a big pillow bed; that I transfer into the lounge room for him to sleep on at night time. Jessica my other dog sleeps on her bed near him which helps him to relax and Veg out.

He is a very intelligent boy! He learnt his new name within a day.
He listen to you when you walk him and tilts his head up and looks at me.

He is very sweet!!! and funny!!

Loves his blanket which on goes on his bed.. trys to stand on it, when I move it. And as you can see in the photo he loves his toys!

Jessica and Jaspa are both very toy orientated she was not impressed when he took her teddy. But I had brought him his own toys for him to play with; bunny, ducky, and soft ball. So Jessica now tries to take his toys. But they don't fight. He seems to know she is an old lady and lets her have hierarchy.

I have increased his weight to 40.6 kilos, he is eating Eukanuba and his coat is really shiny and glossy. He Looks like a big exotic panther at night time on his bed near the TV.

Kind Regards

Susie

Hi Larissa,
Great to see so many greys finding wonderful new forever homes through your hardwork and dedication!
I know some of my girls have found fantastic homes, its nice to know they are warm and comfy, on the couch , in front of the heater/fire on these bloody cold winter days and nights!
Thankyou Gap AND Safety net!
Take care,
Donna
