Today we received a letter from the new owner of Elle and thought her connections might like to see how she is in her new home. Elle was adopted by a lovely 85yr old lady.

Dear GAP, breeder of Elle and previous owners of Elle,

Being the now owner of this adorable, naughty girl "Elle McPherson" I wish to say a "Huge Thank You" to all concerned. Firstly in taking her to GAP and then to GAP for allowing me to be a very happy owner. Elle and I have a great understanding after such a short time; she tells me when it's time to get out of bed and what she expects and I respond appropriately. From the papers I have I see she had two female owners previously... maybe she has summed us up very quickly. "Soft touch"!!??

I have owned many dogs in my 85+ years, I have loved them and spill buckets when they passed on. I have laughed with them and at them, but none as much as with this little "Miss Mischief". She has given me lots of the best medicine in the world - Laughter, and I feel sure Love.

I have been very off colour with a virus, hence the time to write and Elle has been very patient even though walks have been limited and when I wanted to rest she is happy to do likewise alongside my bed and has put her mischief on hold.

Thank you all.

Sincerely

Ethel Peacock

Oh Larissa that is SO sweet and I am SO happy for my dear little Ellie!
It was such a hard decision, letting some of my beautiful girls go to GAP, but I realized that I was being selfish in a way, wanting to keep them here as I could not possibly give then the sort of home and attention and as much love as dear person like Ethel can.
I do miss the girls terribly but they are so much better off with their new forever homes.
Lucky Elle and thankyou GAP for finding such a beautiful home for my beautiful girl.
Thankyou also to Safety Net for finding wonderful homes for some of my other kids.
And God bless people like Ethel! :-)
Sincerely,
Donna
PS Ethel is welcome to have my address if she wants to keep in touch.

Donna, if you email me at [email protected] with your postal address I'll be happy to forward the letter onto you. I'm sure Ethel would love to hear from you, and would probably love to see pics of any of Elle's babies :-)
