just watched abc tv 730 report on the grehound gap program...where inmates at a coorectional instituton work with the dogs to get them ready to integrate back into society....what a great story....there should be more stories like theses and less of all the hate and bile that is being peddled in our country these days

great to see.

with dogs being put down, i wouldnt be suprised in the future they bring in a rule that states that a greyhound cannot be put down unless it is injured during a race, old age or sick.

i have seen about 30 be put down after the races at tracks i have raced at for no reason at all. there has probably been thousands like this over the years.
