Today we had to make that terrible decision again, somehow our Ranger had managed to damage his spine and had lost nearly all the feeling in his back end especially his back legs.
A couple of days ago he seemed to limp a little but by last night he could not even stand to go out for his walk.He was carried to the taxi this morning by 4 of us,then when we reached vets he had to be carried into the surgery. The vet said it looked bad and even if we went for surgery there was no guarentee he would ever use his legs again.Seeing him in pain Bill and i decided to let him go.
The poor boy was only 8 and it seemed so unfair to lose him so soon after Bare.
They are running free together now, both free from pain.we are absolutely broken hearted again.
R.I.P.my boy you will never be forgotten.

Hi Kathy

I am so sorry to hear this . Having lost 2 within 5 months in 2008 and then my beautiful Treasure 8 weeks ago ,I too know what you are going through. Life seems so damn unfair at times but you can only do what is best for the dogs and cherish the times you had with them .

R.I.P Ranger.

Take care,
Di

Life can seem so unfair at times Kath ; and it must be so hard with Bare's passing just a couple of months back. I'm sure you have done the right thing - no matter how much it hurts you at the moment...... Thoughts are with you ; take care.

Run free Ranger. I lost my boy Shane recently and it was also very quick and unexpected. Thinking of you all as I know how hard it is and how much of an empty space is left. xxx
