i've not been on here for a while, so it's with great sadness that i report that we lost our lovely boy "kenny" suddenly at the age of 8 on 9/7/11. We think it was probably his heart with him being an ex racer, we only knew a small part of his racing history, that he was raced very hard as he was a fast runner. We're gutted to say the least and the house is not the same without him. Our other rescue grey, bongo, was missing his brother so much he was severely depressed and had seperation anxiety so we had to adopt another dog. So, "jack" trail jack, came home on the 17th of August. He;s such a quiet dog, we forget he's there sometimes but since he arrived bongo is such a happier boy and there's not been a growl between the two boys. Jack is such a timid boy, we think he had a very hard life when he was in the racing industry. He is very wary of strangers and would'nt even take food out of your hands he was that scared. Now he's been with us a while, he's starting to gain our trust very quickly and his cheeky character is starting to show. He's even starting to play with bongo.

So, with a sad start, there is a happy ending.
all my rescue greys have came from EXTERNAL LINK there are plenty of lovely girls and boys looking for their forever homes. All they ask for is warmth, food, a comfy sofa and lots of cuddles and you'll get so much back from them.

Run free, Kenny! I'm sorry for your loss, Suzie, but am glad you have Bongo and Jack to console you. Retired racers have so much love to give!
