Dear all,

last Saturday 20 Italian families had the honour of welcoming new members. 19 greyhounds and one whippet are now enjoying their new life as pets.

As usual this was only possible thanks to great team work, and our thank yous go to:

the greyhounds who are so loving and lovable
our adopters
our home checkers and all our volunteers
our vet Dr. Danila Ferro
everyone at the Agriturismo Calcaterra in Ozzero (Milan)
Hannah, Sheena and all the CAW team, and the trainers and owners in Ireland and the UK for sending the dogs in such good shape, and for taking the time to assess the dogs so accurately, the profiles were SPOT ON!
the IGB for their financial support
Kathleen whose all-round support is invaluable

a massive thank you to Dominic and his team for the great skill and care they have used to get the dogs to Italy in such amazing shape despite the SEVERE weather conditions.

We'd also like to express our gratitude to all the gentle and kind souls: Dominic, Tony, John Stack, Connie O'Connor, and others (you know who you are!!!) for having run the extra 1000Miles for one young lady. Without you she wouldn't be running her new home like a pro and enjoying all the fuss and attention of the 4 kids. No need to say that the little Miss with a huge personality has settled in straight away and is loving every minute of being the leader of her new pack! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

We couldn't think of a better way to start the new year!

Your eGn staff

Please find some pics of the arrival in the links below, you'll see the new comers and some "old-faces"!:

We must yet again thank all involved with the re-homing, Dominic, Kathleen, & Tony for organisation and transport, Francesca and her team for finding the homes, and in my case Pia in Slovenia. Many thanks to you all.
