Does anyone know of a good kennels or a nice person who could look after my 5 year old retired hound for the day and night, that is reasonably priced? We are going to a wedding and staying overnight. She can be a bit nervous of people she doesnt know, so would get on better if around some nice quiet hounds if possible. We are willing to pay same as kennel prices. Thanks Annax

Anna, maybe one of the greyhound rescues listed on the RGT site here EXTERNAL LINK is near enough to you and can help? RGT branches certainly all offer holiday kennelling for dogs adopted from them, at a very reasonable rate. I think it's very sensible of them - it's not easy to find good kennels, and if your girl's anything like my Doc she'll find it reassuring to be back with other greyhounds, and in a familiar routine. Makes it easier for you to relax as well, knowing she's in expert hands!
