Dear friends,
on Saturday we had the honour of welcoming 19 greyhounds and 1 lurcher in Italy, who are now enjoying their new life as pets.
As usual this was only possible thanks to great team work, and our thank yous go to:

the greyhounds who are very special beings, it's impossible not to love them

our adopters

our home checkers and all our volunteers

our Slovenian colleagues from HRTJI SVET for finding a home for Betsy

our vet Dr. Ileana Mainini (Castano Primo, Milan)

everyone at the Agriturismo Calcaterra in Ozzero (Milan)

the Irish rescues, trainers and owners for sending the dogs in such good shape

the IGB for their financial support

Kathleen whose usual all-round support is invaluable

A BIG thank you to Dominic and his team for the great skill and care they have used to get the dogs to Italy.

The dogs arrived in excellent condition and they were all sociable and very happy to meet their new families!

Enjoy the video of the arrival:

A hug Thank you to Francesca, Dario and all the volunteers of EGN for making all this possible and to Dominic and Tony for the FAB transport as usual.
6 Greyounds and 1 Lurcher went via Cottage Rescue to their new lives in Italy with lovely families.
Big thanks also to Ian Lovelock and my friend Lorraine for helping me to get the gang to Limerick to meet the transport.
and as usual very special thanks to Francesca.

Dave,

Francesca is looking them up for you and we hope to have pics shortly for you.

I saw you had all their details and your email address attached to the passports but you have to understand that the people that adopted them may not speak english and may not have understood what you said in your note.
