a couple of weeks ago we had to have our dearest dog louis put to sleep at the age of 14yrs,we were devistated and i thought it was a bit soon after losing him but it seemed the house was empty without him my wife said shall we get another dog and give another dog a good home, well we rang the rehoming centre and they bought a dog named ace and another dog we see ace first all the grand kids and were here and afriend so you can imagine the excitement, the girl brought him in and he did;nt turn a hair he just went round and explored the house with the kids trailing behind, he is so layed back, we chose him, we did;nt see the other dog as choosing between them would be impossible, he;s been here three days and he thinks he owns the place, he will never take the others place but its our good fortune he has filled the gap in the house and he;s so good with the grandkids,so its a big thankyou to all the volanteers who rehome these dogs.

Ken,
Thank you for giving another soul a new home.
It`ll pay back what you put into it - but you know that, don`t you?

Louis would be proud of you!

thanks all, after having a week he;s settled in nicely, i took him out to meet the grandchild on my scooter and all the kids were noisy and he did;t turn a hair, its like he;s lived here all his life, i think he was made for us, he is so much like louis i thought it might be a bit soon but having ace its helped us,were in the process of making a memorial garden for all the dogs to help the grandchildren get over the loss of louis, so once again thanks for all your support on here as its helped me no end.
