as you all know after we lost louis a few weeks ago we thought it would be too soon to get another dog, but we decided to rescue a dog from the grwr and to mine and the wife;s delight they bought a dog called ace (playfield era) and he was ace, its like he;s been with us for years, he;s so laid back with the grandkids and we;ve had nothing but love from this dog and we have;nt had nothing to do with teaching him whats what, all our friends who we used to walk with round the park which we could;nt do lately with lou being like he was have fallen in love with him too, so thanks to all the rehomers we have the love of ace to help us fill the gap louis left and we;re glad we never left it to rehome another greyhound.

It made my day to read that Ken - Ace obviously loves you all and is helping to fill the void left by Louis - I wish you many happy years together.

Good on you for adopting another greyhound! It sounds as if Ace is settling in really well, I hope you all have many happy years together.
