here in QLD is a lovely soul that never ask's for any fan fare, she does everything, basically herself and with help from her foster people, Fran rescue's animals, and she rehomes greyhounds as well..she never ask's for money etc if she can take a dog, and she has helped me place some of the dog's I've managed to grab... and I know she's helped a lot of trainers/owners placing their dog's into foster care waiting for their new home.. NOW this lovely soul NEEDS OUR help, you see one of the grey's in foster care got into a bit of a biff up with a very large goanna, poor ol finn came off second best.... and nearly lost his life, below is a appeal from a friend of mine trying to help Fran cover the vet's Bill,if Fran has to give up the rehoming of the grey's it will be another nail in the coffin for QLD racing and the greyhounds this is a genuine case if anyone wants I can send you through the photo's etc of poor finn and contact number of the person orginizing the donations ...it would be good if we can show some love and help to not only a houndie in need but also a doggie angel that works behind the scene, helping not only the greys but the owners as well !!!! COME ON GUYS let's get behind this
He has gained quiet sever damage to his left front leg. A main artery was severed, several veins and tendons. He also will need ongoing care for several weeks in the form of having his cast changed and keeping an eye out for infection as goanna's have quiet a lot of bacteria in the saliva that can cause flesh to rot. I'm asking for donations as the small rescue (animals in need) are struggling with the vet bill which is already over $1000 dollars and still going. They have 20 greyhounds in care at any given time and I would hate to see them shut their doors through lack of funds for these types of freak accidents. If you would like to make a donation you can donate on the phone straight to the vet practice who is taking care of Finn with your credit card. When you call please say you want to make a donation to Finn Goulds account. Even the smallest donation can make a difference! I thank you in advance. PS: Finn is in QLD
