As always a superb effort by all those involved - well done. I'm sure all the lucky hounds will be soon settled in to their new homes.

It is amazing how many Italians take in a greyhound as a pet. (GACI must have rehomed hundreds of ex racers by now?). It's difficult to find anyone here in Ireland to rehome one unless they have raced the greyhound themselves. Well done Italia - douze points!

Well done GACI! Eamonn, it's improving here in Ireland but it takes time and promotion so don't forget to tell any members of the public that ask you, or your vet or whoever, what wonderful pets they make! The biggest myths in ireland remain that greyhounds need a ten mile walk a day (!!) and are vicious :(

Hi Norman the greyhounds from PAWS arrived safely in Milan this weekend. The group that rehome them are SOS Levriers Association in Milan.

Norman,

Did you find out anything about your dog ?

I see he was homed in Italy by Paws and yes they work with SOS in Italy but I was under the impression that SOS will not accept dogs from owners/trainers.
Did your dog end up in the Pound ?
