So sorry to hear this news Kath. Take some small comfort in knowing that his suffering is now over. In time you will be able to smile again when you recall some of the happy times shared together although that maybe hard to imagine at the moment...... Thoughts & Prayers ; take care. ... Doug

It's hard Kathleen and although Bill can not be replaced maybe there is another young Bill that needs you so have a think about looking after another one as I'm sure there is another grey that could do with your love.

Jack, Bill was Kathleen's partner, not a dog. So sorry to hear, Kathleen, after all the problems you both had. RIP Bill.

Thankyou all so very much for your kind words, Jack,i think Bill would have found your comment thinking he was a grey very comical. He's at peace now,no more pain and he really suffered since January, they put a peg into his tummy last week but it was just too much for him his poor weak body could take no more. Thankyou all again,i will only be on the net 2 more weeks and I don't know if i'll get it anymore. Kathy xx

thanks Keith, Bill and I lived separately, only a couple of doors away from each other. These bungalows are very small when we had the three dogs there would never have been enough room for all of us.It suited us both to have our own space, Bill went on to the net and as I spent nearly every hour with him I never bothered to get the net at home.I have it while i'm clearing his place out but I probably will get it myself when i'm settled a little. At the moment I don't really know what to do first and i'm missing him so much I can't stop crying. Thanks for your concern Keith.
Kathleen I am so sorry for your loss I know what you are going through as it happened to me this time last year, and I am thankful that I have my dogs which gives me something to get up in the morning for, Bill will always be with you in your heart and in your memories - God Bless and look after yourself.

Ah no, Kathleen - have just come across and it sends me a shower from head to toes. Keep going, I will carry you in my thoughts! And yes, I think Keith is right, try to stay connected. It is so hard to go through all alone. At least be assured we will be here whenever you come by.
