I sent out three to Italy (their new names were 'Brando', 'Evan' and 'Veronique') but I'm not seeking information on them at all (I have three retired ones myself now so enough on my plate). I met Lilian Mazzola of GACI and am fully confident that the dogs get very good homes, they'd more than likely be dead if they weren't rehomed in Italy, that is the stark reality.
I understand that people are well meaning and that circumstances may have forced them to have a dog rehomed but I'd say that once you get them rehomed just let the new owner get on with it and don't be pestering them for photos etc. Next thing is people will want to go on holiday and visit the dogs to see if the dogs remember them :-)

how did you know? I go to prague on a regular basis was gonna stop in and see them

Bon Voyage Dave, you might end up settling down out there. Stranger things have happened, it'd make a helluva good story for John Murray's Valentine Day Show on RTE Radio One.

Hi Norman. Unless you ask, you don't get updates. Most folk don't really care. If you tell me which ones were homed by PAWS, we will find out for you.

They were unable to set up an account after Asa Werner died some years back. She had all the passwords. They & I emailed Admin, but no response. So No, they are not on here.

You are incorrect there William, The people who 'Were' in SOS, that you refer to, were removed from the board. The are now called 'Pet Levrieri.

well it seems this topic has hit a nerve with some and helped others and some good and even bad advertising of agencies.

I am just glad I got some info and pics for all except Dragon Crash

There are a couple here to keep you going Dave EXTERNAL LINK
I have to say, I am MOST surprised that you asked Sarah for info on your dog and didn't get it. She is usually far more efficient than that.

You have a point there William, too many Rescues are impregnated with a strong AR influence! They "rescue" so they probably feel the need to justify it by the fact that all racing people are abusers :( Rehoming isn't rescuing and I'm happy to see on that thread not only owners who genuinely care about their ex racers and Organisation representants who are trustworthy! For the past few years I only rehome my dogs with 1 group, Great Hounds in Need and the great Lucie

Well you see Gina some DO care about their dogs, that must cost you a lot to be all nicey with those people who are breeding/handling your future rescues... But fairplay to you to manage to see past your AR ideologies and try to keep racing guys quiet.

Dragon Clawz is in Sweden through igb and neverland I was told everyone who handled him thought he was amazing..Kennel stoneface person told me he went to nice family and they would try and get an update but haven't heard anything.

Dragon Crash went to Italy 3 years ago aprox.... through PAWS .. I just wanted to see if a person could get a update... that's all
I'm not criticzing anyone or the process and I realize it might be hard to keep track of all the dogs...just wondered if updates were possible... thank you
