Joe Daniher is one of those players that could turn things around very quick and come out and kick 6 next Wednesday. Didn't like the way he was laughing when he shanked a few kicks in round 1 and was laughing about it. Commentators said isn't it great to see Daniher enjoying his football. Zacha turns the ball over way too much.

They should be 4-0 or 3-1 at worse not 2-2. I've backed them throughout the summer to make the 8. So hopefully they can string a few wins together early in the season to set up a back to back finals berth.

btw if you like having a bet there's a horse running tonite at Cranbourne called Don't Take No($8.50) who 2 sts ago ran 3 len inside group horse times for it's last 400m in a genuinely paced race but last start it appeared to have had enuf.

noticed a gear change of 'nasal strips' first time tonite and not knowing much about them found this EXTERNAL LINK , hopefully they'll work - give it strength !

not at all, pretty much what I expected with auto selections Smith,Saad and Stringer coming into the team.......i'd actually hoped they'd start off like this because there's only one way to go and that's up!

It'll take them quite a few games to gel and work each other out let alone the opposition, which is why you're seeing hot/cold performances as you say...........when that happens, the rest of the comp will have to really watch out, besides past Essendon teams have been known to string many wins together I remember 20 in a row, 15 in a row(not that they're at that stage), so I wldn't discount them from say a 9 in row, and look out if they are approching finals with say 5 or 6 wins in a row.

as I've said previously they usually make the 8, so I wldn't discount them unless it was mathematically impossible.

BTW. Carlton are SPECIALS next week!
