Is that an Invitation Simon? Kill 2 birds with one stone, Win the "Thousand" and witness the new arrival.(Milly May Milgate?)

Paw note: The "Martian" has never won further than 431m. Heart attack time after that! Huss

Most welcome Tezza, police check required? I'm 4 hours from Hobart but I should be going providing I'm not on the end of a chain block pulling a baby out. Dr Q and his huonville cronies might be there "high altitude training" Dr Q is also welcome but no police check required due to him being a religious man.

Not religious STL. I am a follower of Christ.
Big big difference.
The Huonville crowd will be there along with the mob from Bushy Park. But the boys from Deloraine have never gone further south than Campbell Town.
Im only coming to pick up a esky full of Stripey.
Huss, what the hell is a pawnote?
Stop trying to be cute, it aint you.

Quinny's esky will come in handy! don't believe there would be any room for F#@*king fish though. Just get the one Quinny and bless him when you get home, worked for that another fella. Huss (Luv scollops)

Yes it did Huss. I had no idea you were a man of such faith.
Of course, I'm the son of a shearer and the other fella is the Son of God so he had a bit of an advantage there. Also he had 5000 followers praying for 3 days. Ive got 12 dogs that think they will starve without a meal every 3 hours.

My mistake Dr Q maybe you can explain the difference over a couple of cascades. For FOC's sake I'll leave it at that, your other mates are they all FOCers? Anyway have you got source for stripeys...

Talking of shearers and Tassie, about 20yr ago coming back from a fishing trip at Ulladulla. We stopped for a refresher at Braidwood. During our conversation at the Pub, Tassie go a mention! a local old shearer listening to us pipped up and stated in the 50's he drove a mob of sheep from NSW to Tas. We asked what ship was used to transport the sheep from Vic to Tas? No bloody ship needed he stated "We took them around the long way" is this a local joke Simon or your holding out.(There is another way in). Explorer Huss

The answer is simple Simon.
Find a new testament and read any of the 4 gospels. (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).
You will soon see the difference between organised religion and the followers of Christ. The religious ones killed Jesus. Today, the Catholic Church (and others) are killing him all over again.

Now, I'm interested in your beliefs my friend.
How did the universe begin? How will it end? What happens when we cark it? AND, where did you learn this?

So my plan was to walk out on the water, drop a net and command the stripeys to fill it.

And none of my mates are FOCers. Or mates to be honest.

Universe and how it begun imo no one knows because no one was around to see it I don't think it will end,our little part might get sucked into a black hole like a Lego piece into a Dyson but life will live on and life will continue to evolve on other planets.

Now if I was walking in the Tarkine wilderness and dropped dead I would lay there and decompose wild animals might have a crack at me,fly's and worms would break me down and as the years went by I would blend into the environment, what bones were left would be covered with foliage and eventually all signs that I ever existed will be gone.

My soul or the person I am would end there with my last breath and if my family or friends want to picture me doing the things I love and mingling with other family members or friends who have passed before me up in heaven well that to me is heaven it is only the thoughts of others whilst remembering you not an actual place but just happy thoughts.

I did an apprenticeship with three Irishmen and all had a different way of doing things my way evolved from observing all three and choosing which was best for me the same goes with life.
I went to a public primary and a Catholic high school, my mother's side of the family is religious my dads not.

Obviously my way of thinking has been influenced by science and other non religious thoughts which you may think is wrong or conspired but many religions all over the world differ drastically and you all can't be right. My issue starts with the story pretty much at the start "immaculate conception" and lost me from there I think it's the biggest game of Chinese Whispers the world's ever seen no offense I respect everyone is different.

Peace be with you....

Two different fishermen I've asked about stripeys and no one is selling professionally but will put the feelers out further that's if you haven't already got someone getting you some.

All good mate.

The words 'immaculate conception' are not found in any bible.
They are a product of the Catholic system. Along with the rosary beads and making dead people Saints.
And the birth of Jesus was not the start. It was around 10,000 years after the start. And Jesus was at the start as well.
It's not that hard to believe in a virgin birth if you already believe in God.
You see, if God created the universe, then surely it would be within his power to enter the womb of a virgin, to be born of human flesh, to walk amongst them, defeat temptation, sin and death, then ascend bodily back to heaven, leaving behind clear and concise directions how to follow him. There is not any Historian with any credibility that denies the fact that Jesus the man, lived. At the time of his death, there was a huge population of Jews and a large Roman army that hated Jesus and was glad to see him killed. The last thing they wanted was to see him again. So when word spread that he was alive, surely it would have been in their best interest to dig up the dead body of Jesus and say 'look idiots, hes dead'
But like Enoch, Moses and Elijah, his body has never been found. And the bible records that all have gone to heaven.

Here's another example of how religion is killing God.
Abraham is the Father of the Jews, the Father of Islam and the Father of Christianity. Abraham worshipped one God. The Talmud says it, the Koran says it and the Bible says it. Yet we have 3 seperate religions who hate and kill each other.

Yes if you dropped dead in the Tarkine, your body would decompose. That happens to every body, regardless of beliefs.
Its what happens to the Spirit, once the body dies, that is the big issue.

And as far as believing in science? or scientists? mate it takes a greater level of faith to believe that stuff.
When I hear people talk about evolution, I always ask them to explain it to me. Most believers in evolution actually have no idea how to explain it. They usually mention Charles Darwin so I ask them to tell me about Charles Darwin. They usually know nothing about him. What country he was born in and when? What university course did he fail at? Are they aware that the discovery of DNA completely defies Darwins single cell theory? Yet they claim to believe his system is right???
Its takes great faith to blindly believe in something you know nothing about. The only good thing about science is that it constantly proves science is flawed.

Heres something I've always laughed at. EXTERNAL LINK and
EXTERNAL LINK
24 years of drilling and they got 12.26kms into the earth yet scientists can tell us what is in the middle of the earth?
Pleeeeeease......

I do agree with what you said about 'we cant all be right'
No we cant. But that doesn't mean we are all wrong.
Ive studied Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Bhuddism, Aboriginal beliefs, Celtic beliefs, Shinto, Jainism and to my absolute and total shock and horror, I discovered Christianity was the only one I couldn't pick apart.
Unfortunately its the Christians, not the Christ, that has pushed people into Atheism and therefore, hell.

Well I'll be there burning up like a spinifex bush. Not because I'm a bad person but because I'm a non believer.

And if you make it to the Thousand come and have a couple of beers with your heathen mate.

Heard any news on Ryno?

Im afraid Rhyno has suffered a fate worse than hell.

Got into a scrap with Huss.

Shame. I would have loved to read the banter between him and Joey Dotters about mirror image pedigrees.

LOL 2 bobs worth, just listening to the radio local ABC news and greyhounds were mentioned, must be an inquiry into racing greens member asks head of Tasmanian racing "greyhounds being shot at the track, are you aware of this and does this practice still take place?" His answer was something along the lines of "I wouldn't know and would have to make further enquiries". FFS I mean really....
Hopefully Aston Dee Bee doesn't pull up sore. Are you thinking of bringing a dog Dr?

Not me mate but Brooke might take the Bear. He was underdone in the B'rat cup heats but we knew that going in. Still performed well. He's racing Sat again and that will probably determine whether he goes.
And if he gets into the final, I might come down and act important.
