Heavens knows what Pastor Gawler is going to say when he lobs in from the Gambier tonight on a day best forgotten when the staunch AFL fan finds out the wogball has nailed him as well. Looks like Your Highness you've put meaning into that old proverb "Sick in Southend" - Macwollie

Well Mick, for what its worth...if there is one thing in life that I have learnt, its that one failure doesnt mean that something cant or wont succeed, success must be evaluated over a period of time (the longer the better), it all about time and percentages. For instance, I once opened a business with a partner in HIS then country town which he said couldnt fail because of his LOCAL contacts, I implemented and applied my proven city winning strategy, after 18 months we were failing and running out of money, so much so that he pulled the pin which left me 2 choices...bite the bullet and also pull the pin or trust what had always worked for me and press on for another 3 months before I ran out of money and had to close the doors (I wasnt going to mortgage my home). When disaster looked imminent, after 2 months it suddenly turned around and we went past the break even point to a small monthly profit, 3 years later, the business was a great success. Gambling, is a completely different kettle of fish however, still, figures, percentages and time can be a reliable forecast. Question...How long have you been analysing the data that you have presented, that is important, another thing to consider the broadness of your base? Perhaps you shouldnt cover all teams and really analyse which teams are performing to your system parameters with few failures (you cant eleiminate them entirely), I have found that as with business, stay with what is successful and eliminate the areas that are not, the further you spread the net, the greater the chance of failure.
Mind you, I have not been a punter or gambler on anything for at least 10 years, prior to that I loved a bet and you well know, was right into greyhounds...whilst admitting that gambling is very chancy, systematic investing has had some limited success over the years. The real secret with a system is...define it over time, refine it over a long period, then above all, stick religiously to the set rules and DONT change the parameters, or the stake.
You will never win a fortune, but more importantly, you will never lose a fortune!

Not at all Quinny, just telling him not to be put off by the nay sayers and give up so easily, failure is a necessity of eventual success with anything!

Mick, you havent given up on your system have you?
Even if you stop posting the results here, I hope you persist at least with the results for a while longer to see how it pans out over a longer period.

I am rich in family life though and for that I am eternally greatful...which is one reason that I say, when your onto a good thing, stick with it!
ps...Tor, you always seem to talk sense, I reckon your definitely on the right track mate! (lol)

(Haven't logged in this week). G'day Ray yeah been on the goals under over bandwagon for the last couple of years. Usually total game goals just one or two games to boost up a Sportsbet.
The issue you can come across is two teams have played 20 games haven't been involved in a game that has scored three goals in a half then come out and score line is a 2-2 first half. Yeah pretty easy to jump ship and change betting system outlook after a few consecutive losses.
This boy has short hands and deep pockets.
